First Say protocol
Early belief, with creator control.
First Say is a consent-first SocialFi testnet. People verify with X to nominate emerging creators. The nominated creator can later verify the exact same X identity and accept or decline the private record.
What First Say is
A nomination is a signal that someone noticed a creator early. It is not permission to create a token or market in that creator's name. The creator remains in control of whether their First Say identity is ever claimed.
How consent works
Privy provides X authentication. First Say stores the immutable X account identifier—not merely the changeable @handle—so only the nominated account can accept or decline its invitation. There is no MFA requirement and no claim-expiration timer in this version.
Current testnet status
Identity, X lookup, rate limiting, private nomination records, and creator claim decisions are the active product layer. Wallet creation, escrow deposits, token deployment, bonding curves, and trading are not enabled. First Say does not display fictional market values or simulated financial activity.
Flow
- A nominator verifies with X.
- First Say resolves the nominated X profile using the official X API and creates a private Convex record.
- The creator receives a unique claim link.
- The exact nominated X identity accepts or declines.
- Future onchain features remain gated until contracts are deployed and tested.
